Welcome to Hartlepool Voluntary Development Agency
Hartlepool Voluntary Development Agency (HVDA) was set up in 1986 in order to provide Hartlepool's voluntary sector with an 'umbrella' group who would promote the issues and work of the sector.
The organisation celebrated its 20th Anniversary in 2006, making it one of the oldest groups of its kind in the country. Its success is due to the demand for the group's services and its flexibility to develop projects to meet a particular need or demand.
The organisation has recently achieved Matrix Accreditation for their internal staff and external clients. The Matrix is a quality standard for information, adivce and guidance. It is a unique quality framework for the effective delivery of information, advice and/or guidance on learning and work. If you would like to know more on Matrix, please contact Andrea Fletcher at HVDA.
This site is meant to give you an insight in to the organisation and its works. If there is something that you think should be on the site, we would welcome your suggestions. Please use the feedback button at the bottom of the menu.
