MBE Congratulations

The Community Network would like to congratulate Ruby Marshall on receiving an MBE following the footsteps of other Voluntary and Community Sector workers who have previously been awarded an MBE being Bob Farrow, Peter Gowland, Brian Hanna and Wendy McLoughlin.  Ruby who is Chair of Hartlepool Carers received an MBE for her services to children and families in Hartlepool.  Ruby was previously the head of Children’s Social Services in Hartlepool and despite retiring in 1997 from this role Ruby has given her time becoming an active volunteer with a number of groups.  Ruby is an active member of LINks and of the previous local Public Patient Involvement Forum, Ruby is a member of HVDA’s Board.  Well done Ruby!
