New Community Network Officer
The Community Network Team would like to introduce and welcome the new Community Network Officer—Andrea Fletcher. Andrea will be provisionally employed until June 2009 to carry out specific pieces of work including the Skills and Learning Plan; Equality and Diversity, specifically women’s involvement in decision making processes; Young People’s involvement in the NAP’s (Central and North).Andrea is currently organising the Community Network’s International Women’s Day Event which will be held on 11 March 2009. Andrea said “IWD is a major day of global celebration for the economic, political and social achievements of women past, present and future, building on this the Community Network are hoping this event will be both a celebration of achievements and a visionary event for the women from Hartlepool”. The event will be held at Summerhill on 11 March 2009 at 10am – 2pm with lunch provided. Please contact Andrea Fletcher on 262641 to register interest for the event.
