  • Outcome 29: Make a positive contribution.
  • Outcome 30: Improve the quality of life and ensure service providers are more responsive to

  • Outcome 31: Improve financial inclusion.
  • Outcome 32: Freedom from discrimination and harassment.
 The Community Network and partners will aim to achieve the targets within each Outcome by focusing on specific areas of work during 2009/10. Some of these pieces of work include the following:
  • Work towards increasing the number of individuals involved in decision making processes, ensuring the diversity is reflective of the town
  • Work towards ensuring consultation is effective and meaningful
  • Ensure those involved have the opportunity to develop skills and knowledge
  • Work with partners to increase young peoples participation in positive activities
  • To increase participation in regular volunteering; Ensure the review of resources in Neighbourhood Renewal (NR) areas informs future work to take forward the NR Strategy/NAP’s and the funding to the VCS
  • Increase membership to the Credit Union
  • Look at ways to continue promoting community cohesion;
