A Fond Farewell - Lesley Hall

The Community Network would like to wish Lesley Hall a fond farewell. Lesley has worked for the Community Network since it began in 2002. Lesley has been a real asset to the Team and the Network, working with many groups and residents across Hartlepool. A lot of development work in Lesley’s early days focussed on Dyke House, Burbank, Rift House, Rossmere and Owton areas. Lesley was very passionate about her supporting role with both Resident Representatives and Environmental Representatives. On a personal note the Community Network Team would like to thank her for her support, advice, knowledge and her experience with working within the Voluntary/Community Sector (VCS). As a colleague Lesley always gave words of wisdom and would keep the Team up to date with government policies, political issues, historical facts and wildlife wonders. Lesley will be greatly missed by the Team, Community Network, HVDA, VCS and many partner agencies.

Lesley said “It doesn’t seem like seven years since we started our Partnership working together, trying to improve our town. I would like to thank all of you who are involved in this endeavour for all of your hard work in the development of the Community Network, Neighbourhood Partnership like the Neighbourhood Action Plans and the role of Resident Representatives; as well as the formation of the many Resident Associations and Voluntary Groups over those seven years. I’ve been lucky enough to meet and work with some wonderful people and had some brilliant experiences. I just want to say goodbye for now and thanks to everyone for enriching my life. Love and Peace—Lesley”.
