Hartlepool Voluntary Development Agency (HVDA) has been successful in securing funding for a Community Health Chest from the Hartlepool Borough Council Communities for Health Fund. Applications are welcome from both Community and Voluntary Sector groups to undertake small projects that will tackle a range of health issues targeted at improving lifestyle and health inequalities. Grants between £50 and £2000 are invited from all areas of Hartlepool, although priority will be given to those projects which benefit the most deprived neighbourhoods and/or marginalised communities.Application forms and full criteria are available on the HVDA website, or call Liz Ashton, Grants Administrator on 262641 for more information.
