Hartlepool Compact – We need your input!

The Compact is an agreement between Hartlepool Borough Council, local services and commissioners of services and the Voluntary and Community Sector.  The Compact will be very important for voluntary and community groups within Hartlepool as the document sets out agreed working practices with named public sector service providers and recognises the value of services provided by voluntary and community groups in Hartlepool.

The next stage of the Hartlepool Compact Consultation is now online and includes a questionnaire.  We would like groups to answer the questionnaire about the latest draft of the Hartlepool Compact to ensure that we are getting the document right!

To access the questionnaire go to www.hartlepool.gov.uk, on the right hand side of the screen there is a ‘Have Your Say’ box, click on this box and this will take you to the Council’s Consultation site.  You will need to register to take part in the online consultation, and this is easy to do.  Once you have registered on the site you will be able to see ‘current’ consultations and ‘Hartlepool Compact’ will be listed.  Click on the ‘Hartlepool Compact’ consultation and you will be able to view the Hartlepool Compact consultation homepage.

If you would like to complete the questionnaire please click on the link.  This will open a ‘request to join the consultation’ page.  Please put a short message detailing which group you represent.  Requests will be checked regularly to ensure that you have access to the consultation promptly.  The consultation has been designed in this way to ensure that the consultation is answered by groups who the Compact will be relevant to.

If you would like any further information relating to the consultation on the Hartlepool Compact or would prefer a paper copy of the questionnaire, please contact Fiona Riley on 01429 523278 or by e-mail: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
