Throston Neighbourhood Action Plan (NAP)

Throston has recently been agreed as a Neighbourhood Action Plan (NAP) area.  It is hoped that the first draft of the Throston NAP will go to the December meetings of the Hartlepool Partnership, Neighbourhood and Communities Portfolio and the North Neighbourhood Consultative Forum.

To help inform the draft NAP, information from any previous consultations will be taken into account.  Residents were invited along to a range of consultation events during August and all discussion points have been collected and will be added to the NAP.

A community event will take place on 28 September 2008 at 12noon—3pm at the Old Boys Rugby Club, Throston.  This will be another opportunity for residents to talk about their area and highlight any problems. It is hoped that a Throston NAP Forum will be formed by January 2009 and that this group will consist of young people and adults living in the area.

For further information of how to get involved in the Throston NAP, please contact Ann Callaghan, Neighbourhood Development Officer on 523388.
