Protocol between the Community Network and Hartlepool Partnership

 Protocol Review Session

The Hartlepool Partnership and the Community Network held a very successful Review of the Protocol session on the 30th October 2008.

The Hartlepool Partnership and the Community Network originally agreed the Protocol in 2005 with the purpose of providing a framework to strengthen working relationships between the two partners. The Protocol sets out how the Community Network can contribute to the work of the Hartlepool Partnership and how the Hartlepool Partnership and its associated Theme Partnerships can support the Community Network.

This session was well attended and provided an opportunity for representatives and partners to ask questions, clarify issues and discuss some of the proposed changes and additions to the Protocol.

Discussions at the review session highlighted the need to add further wording to strengthen the role and recognise the value of the Community Network in the area of ‘Partners Consultation Activity’. It was noted that there was also added value to the Protocol by including the Hartlepool Compact and Participation Strategy Vision.

The Community Network would like to thank the Hartlepool Partnership, Representatives and Partners for all their help in working through and debating the content of the Protocol.

All comments submitted on the day will inform any amendments to the Protocol and will be sent back to attendees for their agreement.
