Working Neighbourhood Fund Update 2009/11

Funding for 2009/11 was agreed by the Council’s Cabinet on 22 December 2008 which will now be reviewed by Scrutiny as part of the Council’s budget process.  The Council budget and recommendations from Scrutiny will go back to Cabinet on 9 February 2009.  The final budget is scheduled for agreement by the Council on 12 February 2009.  Individual groups have been informed of the process.  In 2008/09 WNF contributed to £1,382,509 to Voluntary and Community Sector groups, the biggest single source of funding to the VCS in Hartlepool .
